The Impossible Starts with “I Will”

I love Francis of Assisi’s quote, “Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.”

Unfortunately, many of us have limiting beliefs about our potential. This results in them playing small and letting fear stop them from achieving what is actually possible. However, through mindset shifts, Jason Drees helps entrepreneurs overcome these invisible barriers and 10x their businesses.

In addition to being an entrepreneur, he is a performance coach, a husband, and a father of four children. Jason has demonstrated a remarkable ability to rewire mindsets to achieve unprecedented results in his more than 5,000 hours and 10,000 sessions of coaching, J. In all aspects of life, his clients benefit from his ever-expanding knowledge of mindset power, which continues to drive them toward their full potential.

This being said, here are Jason’s tips on how to achieve the impossible.

From Racecar Cooling Suits to Mindset Coaching

Jason began his entrepreneurial journey in 2006 by making cooling suits for racecar drivers. Even though he faced some early business challenges, hiring a Tony Robbins coach in 2010 changed everything for him. This experience led him to attend Tony Robbins events such as UPW and Date with Destiny. After being inspired by his coach, Jason joined Tony Robbins‘ coaching program in 2013. In 2014, he became the team’s number-one coach.

Evolving Beyond Results-Based Coaching

Although Jason appreciated Tony Robbins’ foundation, he noticed limitations in the results-based coaching model, which can often be driven by pain and pleasure. For those who did not resonate with the high-energy, masculine style of the approach, this could lead to average results and misaligned actions.

In order to align clients’ mindsets with their goals, Jason developed his own coaching techniques. As a result of aligning clients with their targets, strategies and actions flowed more naturally. In response to this, he created a coaching model that emphasizes coaching within a frequency framework and at a frame level, which he calls alignment coaching.

The Misalignment Trap

We often look for external strategies and mentors when we operate with any degree of misalignment, according to Jason. These strategies, however, often fail because they aren’t tailored to our specific circumstances.

As opposed to seeking external solutions, we should begin from within, aligning our mindset with our actions. By doing so, we become more confident and successful as we move forward.

Alignment over Action

In order to succeed, Jason emphasizes the importance of aligning one’s goals with one’s actions. In such moments, actions are naturally inspired and require less effort, as they seem to fall into place effortlessly. This is often called “being in the flow.”

As a result, when one is out of alignment, achieving goals feels like a grind, requiring intense focus and accountability.

Aim Big

According to Jason, people often plateau because their goals are set too low. Despite seemingly unattainable goals, he suggests setting “impossible” ones to ignite passion and creativity. By setting ambitious targets, individuals are motivated to perform at a higher level and push themselves out of their comfort zones.

The Role of Mindset

In Jason’s philosophy, the mindset must be aligned with the target. As he notes, the actions we take are a direct reflection of our mental state. When we have a positive, confident mindset, we come up with effective strategies and take effective action. When we are negative or doubtful, we come up with counterproductive strategies. In order to determine if one is aligned, one should observe the level of resistance or flow.

Due to underlying doubts and fears, most people operate with a mindset that’s only partially aligned with their goals. As a result of these doubts, often based on past experiences, resistance is created. These mental contradictions must be addressed and removed in order to achieve true success.

Limiting Beliefs Hinder Progress

One of the most significant points Jason makes is that the universe operates based on attraction. He uses a scientific analogy, explaining that atoms are mostly energy, thus implying that what we are energetically aligned with, we will attract. Likewise, the belief that we are successful and wealthy will attract money. Limiting beliefs can sabotage our efforts, making it crucial to foster a mindset of abundance and possibility.

Facilitating Growth in Children

Parents can have a significant impact on their children’s financial mindsets. Jason and his wife never say “we can’t afford it.” Instead, they teach their children that money is abundant and available. As a result of this openness about money and entrepreneurship, they have a healthy relationship with money.

Investing in Yourself

In addition to tangible investments, education and mindset are the best investments you can make. These areas provide the foundation for all other successes. A mentor or coach can play a critical role in this process, assisting you in breaking through invisible ceilings and aligning your actions with your goals.

Conclusion

Aligning your mindset and actions is the first step toward achieving your goals. It is possible to overcome self-sabotage by setting ambitious goals, overcoming limiting beliefs, and investing in your development. In order to succeed, you must align with your true desires and act from that place of confidence and clarity.
