Is there something you’ve always wanted but couldn’t quite put your finger on? Are you searching for a sense of purpose? You’re not alone. The spark, or that inner fire, that propels us forward with passion and purpose is something many of us strive for throughout our lives.
What is Your Inner Fire?
A person’s inner fire is the unique blend of passion, talent, and values that defines them. Even in the face of challenges, it’s what keeps you going.
By igniting your inner fire, you can increase your motivation and resilience, allowing you to overcome obstacles more effectively. It can also provide clarity in your professional and personal endeavors and enhance your sense of purpose. Moreover, it allows you to live a more authentic and fulfilling life as it fosters a deeper connection with your true self.
Igniting the Spark: Discovering Your Purpose
Discovering your life’s purpose is a journey, not a destination. Essentially, it’s about discovering yourself, exploring your passions, and aligning them with your values. This is best exemplified by former special forces military veteran Jeremy Locke, who came close to taking his own life in December 2020.
Thankfully, with the love and support of Britnie Turner, Jeremy found a new purpose.
Currently, he serves as the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Special Operations for Aerial Recovery, which is an international disaster response non-profit that seeks to save lives, eliminate confusion, maximize support, and accelerate recovery. As a result of Jeremy’s military background, he is able to plan and lead effective responses in the most difficult parts of the world.
Air Recovery also established the Heal the Heroes Initiative, which is devoted to healing and repurposing over 100 veterans annually to be able to use their life-saving skills in areas of need.
From Military Trauma to Entrepreneurial Triumph
Jeremy’s journey is a testament to the human spirit and resilience. As a result of deployments, loss, and PTSD, he suffered from a dark period in his military career. Despite this, he also developed unique skills and a sense of purpose as a result of his experience.
Britnie Turner, a renowned real estate tycoon with a passion for entrepreneurship, introduced him to the world of business and personal growth. As soon as Jeremy met Britnie, a successful entrepreneur, a spark began to ignite within him. As a result of her unwavering support and faith in his potential, they founded Aerial Recovery, a veteran-led organization dedicated to helping veterans.
In order to help veterans such as Jeremy, they are embarking on a mission to serve as a source of healing and purpose. Their impact is inspiring, and they are a power couple that is making a notable difference. In their story, they overcome adversity, build a successful business, and give back to the community.
Aerial Recovery: A Mission of Healing and Purpose
With Aerial Recovery, Jeremy and Britnie have realized their shared vision. The organization provides a comprehensive transition program for veterans, helping them adjust to civilian life after military service. Included in the program are:
- Retreats. During their stay at Aerial BVI, veterans can relax, heal, and reconnect with nature.
- Mentorship. In order to help veterans discover their passions and purpose, Jeremy and his team provide mentorship and guidance.
- Community. Through camaraderie and understanding, veterans form supportive networks with fellow participants.
With five confirmed suicide preventions, Aerial Recovery has already saved lives. In times of post-military challenges, the program serves as a beacon of hope for veterans.
Beyond Healing: A Fight Against Human Trafficking
Britnie and Jeremy are committed to making a difference beyond veterans. As part of their mission to combat human trafficking, they utilize their highly trained team of veterans to rescue children from this horrendous crime.
Using their skills and resources, they have created a positive impact on the world with their work in this area.
Raising Money for Important Causes
It was easy for Jeremy to access funds when he was in the military. According to him, disbursement offices could be found on every base – in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, everywhere. After completing my mission, I’d return the rest of the money after submitting receipts, he says.
Now I’m trying to save twenty kids, he adds. Despite knowing where they are, I am completely underfunded. To save these children, Jeremy wishes for that same easy access to funds.
Thankfully, Jeremy is able to promote his cause on podcasts, like the Lifestyle Investor, and teaming with other influencers who are passionate about the cause could amplify his message and reach. And, also, I’ve donated all the proceeds of the Lifestyle Investor book to fight human trafficking
You can, however, raise funds through several methods. An example of a traditional approach is organizing a charity auction or fun run. In addition, online crowdfunding platforms such as GoFundMe and Kickstarter have become popular for reaching a wider audience and collecting small donations.
Social media challenges can also be used to generate awareness and funds, encouraging followers to participate and donate. In addition, virtual events such as webinars or online concerts can attract global participants.
A Testament to the Human Spirit
Britnie and Jeremy’s story shows us that no matter what obstacles we face, we can turn pain into purpose. Others are encouraged to pursue their passions and contribute to causes they value as a result of witnessing Jeremy and Britnie’s dedication and success.
They demonstrate that anyone can create lasting, positive change in their community and beyond with commitment and compassion.
