Adel Sayegh: So, I wanted to introduce your audience of how you and I met. We were in Puerto Rico at an investor's conference, and very few people in the world, Justin, leave the type of impression that you left on my heart. And I knew then that you are going to be a long-life friend because you had such a beautiful aura about you. You had your spirit. You were one of those guys that I knew did not have a mean bone in his body. And right afterwards, I say, "Man, this is an angel among us,” just your heart, your spirit, your love for others, your compassion. I didn't know who you were, but that's what you displayed. And I just fell in love with you as my brother, and I said, "Wow. What an incredible gift. This is truly an angel among us.”

And then shortly after, you got to speak and talk about what you did and your investment. I say, "Well, this is the first smart angel in my life.” And I just knew how bright and how gifted you are. So, I call you such a beautiful light, a beautiful gift in my life, and everyone that knows you. So, thank you for that. Thank you for being such a beautiful blessing in my life. And we'll talk about it later on, but you've impacted my life in ways that's really hard to explain. So, thank you, brother.

Justin Donald: Well, thank you.

Adel Sayegh: I remember we were talking, you were asking me a little bit about my background, and I know this is something that you wanted to share with your audience. My wife and I, we took the company from the garage, and most people know me, or shall I say, know of me through the products that I had invented, security tags. If any of your audience has gone shopping and they see security tags on clothing, that is a product that I invented. Facial recognition software, GPS tracking, even some of the ring technology. Those are all technologies that God had blessed me with, and we invented, and we took the company from our garage to a billion-dollar valuation.

Justin Donald: Wow. That is massive.

Adel Sayegh: This is a kid that was born in a… I’m one of 10 kids. We were in a one-room house, not a one-bedroom house, a one-room house.

Justin Donald: Oh, my goodness, Adel.

Adel Sayegh: It transferred into everything. So, to be able to go from that level of poverty to having everything that any man or woman could ever possibly hope and dream for was mine. And not only financially was I blessed, but in health-wise, I was training for IRONMAN at 49. That was my 50th birthday gift to myself is being able to accomplish that.

Justin Donald: That’s incredible.

Adel Sayegh: It really was. I was better shaped at 49, Justin, than when I was in the Marine Corps.

Justin Donald: Oh, my goodness. And I got to imagine you were still in really good shape when you were in the Marine Corps. So, that's really saying something.

Adel Sayegh: I was ripped. I was looking good. I was feeling good. I was unstoppable. Life could not be any better. God blessed me with an amazing wife, four beautiful kids, and I was just, in that moment in time, thought there's no way I could possibly be blessed more than what I am today. And then I got a knock on the door, and when I opened it said, “Adel, I don't care what you invented. I don't care how much money you have. I really don't care who you know. I have pancreatic cancer.” And everything that could possibly go wrong had gone wrong. On three separate occasions, the doctors had walked in, and one, in particular, I had been in the hospital for 58 days.

Every one of my organs is failing. I had my wife and my four kids, and when the doctor walked in and he looked at them, he said, “I'm so sorry, but it's time to call your family and your priest. He's not going to make it through the day,” and got out of the room. And you could just imagine what my family was feeling at that moment in time. My wife was just devastated. I remember she was just screaming to the Lord, "No Lord, no Lord.” And all my four kids were just crying, and they were just jumping up and down in disbelief. My heart was crying because we all thought up until that moment in time, I was going to be able to make a turn and be okay. I just felt it in my heart. But now I say man and science had given up on me. And it was time to go.

And I remember just pausing for a second and kind of closed my eyes, and I was like, “God, please just give me one more chance.” I just wanted one more chance to get this one right, and I felt the Holy Spirit or an energy at the time that I've never experienced in my life, Justin. There was just something going through every fiber of my being. And somebody says, "How would you explain that?” I say, "If you've ever been in a bathtub and sat in a bathtub that has still water versus turning on the jets and we have jets flown from all over, that was the way I would describe. I went from being in still water to just something that was truly moving at me.” And with absolute confidence, I looked at my family, I said, "Look at me. I'm not going nowhere.”

And my baby girl goes, "Daddy, how do you know?” I said, "Sweetheart, Jesus said my faith will heal me.” And I believe that with every fiber of my being, so much so that the monitor that was monitoring all my vitals started improving. My heart rate, my blood pressure, everything started right before our eyes, Justin. We were witnessing a miracle happen that defies science, that defies the odds, that defies what we've known all our lives. And by the time morning rolled around, they had done every imaginable test, CAT scans with and without dye. MRIs, every lab imaginable. And they came back.

I walk up to a room, I kid you not, I thought I got to heaven because the room, they had no less than 20 men and women in white jackets, right? So, it looked like angels for a second when I opened my eyes. And it was my doctor, his entire team, residents that were in the room, and they all looked at me. He goes, “Adel,” and he is looking at the report in his hand. He goes, “I don't know how to explain this.” And I said, “I do.” And, Justin, from that moment on, that was my defining moment that just changed me from believing in having a level of faith that I never even thought was possible.

Justin Donald: Yeah. That is so powerful, and it's just such an unbelievable story when you have all science telling you, "Here's the end result. Here's how it's going to be. You have no choice in this.” And to see something greater, to see a greater power be able to heal you so that, I mean, you've lived years beyond then. Now, you've also gotten sick in different ways on different things. And even I feel like you've been close to your deathbed several times, and every time you walk away, every time you're healed and restored, and it's a different ailment, it's a different conquering of that ailment. You have navigated so much adversity, physically, mentally, spiritually, professionally. I mean, we'll have to get into that story too. But you're a walking miracle, and it's incredible. I'm thankful that you are still here with us.

Adel Sayegh: Me too. I so appreciate you. My book comes out in September.

Justin Donald: I know.

Adel Sayegh: Forged by Faith, and it talks about so many of these stories. And even my publisher says, “I cannot believe what you have endured and what you have been through.” And my book starts off like literally the first sentence says this, “Most kids don't have a recollection when they're two years old, but when bombs are dropping all around your house and walls are caving in, and ceilings are cracking, and windows are shattering, it just leaves a distinct memory and impact on your life.” And that's literally how my life started at that age, and with those types of memories. And it just goes through what you just said, just a lot of trials, a lot of challenges. And the beauty about all this, looking back, I just see it that every challenge that I had been through was one where it was the greatest gift to be able to use to help others.

One of my closest, dearest friends came to me. It's been now almost eight weeks. Him and his wife have never been in my house together. And he says, “Adel, I need to see you. It's important.” I say, "Yes, brother.” So, he came out to the house, welcomed him, and he had this kind of heaviness on his heart, and he had lost more weight than I have. I mean, he was 180 pounds, and I'm seeing this kid at 150. And he's told me he was just diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, stage 4 pancreatic cancer. And he had gone to the City of Hope, and they said, “Hey, listen, we'll extend your life for a couple of days, a couple of weeks. We really don't know.” But they didn't think he was going to make it for the month.

It's been eight weeks. His wife left me a message this morning of how he's gaining weight back, how he's moving around. She sent me a video of him riding horses. And being able to pass the gift that God has blessed me with and allowing others to experience what unshakeable faith is, what true healing is, having God in your life. I never really understood when the Bible talked about a faith of a mustard seed could move mountains, but I do today. It was just a study that was recently done. It was actually published. It's been about three months now. And it was a group of scientists that met with a warden, and they got permission, I guess, through the state or through the jail system about a guy that was supposed to be on his death row.

He was supposed to be given the lethal injection. And two days before that date, they went and they met with him and said, "Well, instead of the lethal injection, here's the snake that's going to bite you. And it has the most lethal venom of any snake. And here's what you could expect within the first hour, here's your reaction. And within four hours, you'll be dead. On the day that he was supposed to go in, they closed his eyes, or they covered his eyes and blindfolded him. And they didn't inject him with anything other than saline water. There was no snake or anything. He thought it was this snake. He reacted and within one hour, he started having the same symptoms the doctors told him that he would have. Within four hours, he had died of natural causes.

No snake bite. No lethal injection. Nothing. It was just what he had in his mind, what he truly believed. And when you believe and when you have faith and when you have God in your life, and you believe at that level, it's amazing the impact that you're able to have on your body, to be able to self-heal, to be able to impact the world in ways you never thought possible. But I truly believe that God had given us the healing ability, not only to heal ourselves, but to also heal others. And the Bible talks so much about the path that Christ had walked and the impact and the healing that he has. And he also told his disciples to go out and heal others.

So, we all have a gift. It's just a matter of being able to tap into that gift and being able to use it for the goodness, not to be able to gain monetary money or fame or anything like this, but when you use it and it's pure from the heart, I truly believe that every single one of us has the ability to self-heal in ways that science can't explain.

Justin Donald: Well, I love just you have this pillar of strength around your faith, and it has helped you weather a lot of storms. And I love that you've stayed true to your faith, even through a lot of the hard times. So, we've only talked about hard physical times where you almost died. I think it'd be great to share the rest of the story of what happened with your company because you are going to sell this thing for billions of dollars. And all of a sudden, people started coming at you. People tried stealing. Well, I mean, they did in fact steal away, through the legal process and other means, your business. And I think it would be great to share that story so people can learn all that you have endured along the way and how strong your faith still is.

Adel Sayegh: Yeah. So, when I first got diagnosed, how do I even share this with my family? My brother was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer, and how do I share this with my company, because we were just on a hockey stick trajectory. We were exploding and growing at a faster rate than I ever thought even possible. October, November, the months before I got diagnosed, a company had offered us close to a billion-dollar valuation. They wanted to buy us out through cash and stock options. And we thought about it, and I thought, "Okay, this is probably not the right time. We still continue to be on that trajectory. We could probably exit at a much higher rate,” and I just wasn't ready to kind of say, "All right. It's time for me to move on.” I loved, absolutely loved what I did.

And growing the company was also one of the most challenging things of my life. For the first 13 years, I didn't take a vacation. We were working 16, 17, 20-hour days just to really, I didn't take a single dollar from anyone. It was all holistic growth. That's something I would recommend today if I was to do it all over again. But when you're young and naive and you got the Marine Corps spirit in you, I was just determined to be able to grow it on my own. And so, a lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into the company. And so, this was my baby. So, when I got sick, I just took a group of individuals, my executive team, and I shared the news with them, and then, of course, we shared it with the company of what was going on.

The surgery, I knew a little of what was going on. I knew my very first surgery was supposed to be 14 hours. It ended up being 22 hours. And everything that could possibly go wrong in a surgery went. What the doctors warned me about was happening. And even at a worse rate, they were expecting that I had pancreatic leakage. They gave me a bag that's supposed to fill within 48 hours. I was filling that bag, Justin, every hour on the hour.

Justin Donald: Oh, my goodness.

Adel Sayegh: The amount of medication I was on was just unreal. So, that was very challenging and kind of going through a path of uncertainty. Every two weeks I had to have a procedure, where the doctors went into my pancreas and was changing stents and it would trigger pancreatitis every single time. And with that, they called it a freight train. We didn't know whether I was going to go to the morgue or go home, and that was happening every two weeks after my surgery. So, that level of uncertainty for me and my family, but. I also had a peace of mind that I trusted my company with some of the most loyal people that I surrounded myself with. One was with me for 14 years, had been to every one of my kids' baptisms, had been to every vacation that I had ever taken.

So, the moment I started taking vacation, she was part of those vacations, and she was more family to me than some of my own family members. And so, I had that level of peace of mind that while I was fighting for my life, that my company was going to be okay, and I was trusted. I was getting all these reports telling me how great the company was doing. One particular report, I had an internal board and I had an external board that had some of the brightest minds. And my external board says, “Adel, your company's doing so good that it's actually doing better without you being in the company than you being in the company. And maybe you should consider being an Owner's Box.

And what I would tell you is that was probably one of my most bittersweet moments of my life because this was my baby, and it's like, "How could my company be doing better without me when I was dedicating every ounce of my time into that company? I had invested so much into my people.”

Justin Donald: Yeah, it's the greatest testament of the highest level. Level 5 leadership is when your company can grow and excel at a level beyond what you are able to do yourself based on the people, the SOPs, the processes. So, that's incredible.

Adel Sayegh: Yeah, it was. And so, that was the sweet moment now. It was like your kids just grown up, they're ready to spread their wings, and they’re no longer dependent on mommy or daddy. They're independent and they're able to grow. And I think that would give any parent just a sense of pride and a sense of joy deep within. You don't want to be an empty nester, but also there's a sense of pride and joy. And I experienced that same level of pride and joy. And on Christmas Eve of 2015, I got a call from my finance manager. She was number three, number four, I think, down the totem from the CFO. And she said, “Adel, I just sent you a couple of emails. I am so sorry. I know it's Christmas Eve, but I just wanted to let you know I'm resigning effective immediately. And please take a look at what I just sent you because your numbers are not what they seem.” And she hangs up the phone.

And I had absolutely no idea what she was talking about. It's Christmas Eve. I don't have a great relationship with her for her to call me directly. And so, when I looked at the emails, Justin, I couldn't make sense out of them. I didn't know what I was looking at because it wasn't anything that I've seen. It wasn't numbers that I recognized. So, I forwarded the email to two dear friends of mine. One was the leader of my board, the chairman, and I say, "Please, take a look at this and tell me if you make any sense out of it.” And his response is, "Dude, it's Christmas Eve.” I said, “I know, I know.” Just whenever you get a chance. And then also friends at the FBI, and I say, "Would you please take a look at this?” And their response was the same, “It's Christmas Eve.” And I said, “I know whenever you get a chance.”

And, Justin, a week after I had shared those emails, this was on New Year's Eve, is when I got the message that, “Adel, you may be bankrupt,” and I said, "Bankrupt? What are you talking about?”

Like, I couldn’t comprehend. So, I got on a flight shortly after and I flew to Austin, where you are. That’s where my chairman and that’s where the board meetings were taking place. And we were looking at the numbers and dissecting them and while I was fighting for my life, while I was going through one of the most difficult times of my life, the most trusted people in my life at that time was doing the unthinkable, they were embezzling money, took out all the cash that was in the company. And then on top of that, they started forging documents and taking a line of credits. And when they exceeded the line of credits, they started securing additional lines of credits, securing my home, my assets, my properties as guarantor of the additional monies that they were embezzling out of the company.

Justin Donald: Wow.

Adel Sayegh: And I went, within months, from talking to M&A attorneys about exiting and strategically, how to best do it to now, 18 months later after dealing with what I was dealing with, to talking to bankruptcy attorneys about filing for bankruptcy on the company.

Justin Donald: Wow, that is just heartbreaking to even think about, to even think that people would do that while you were on your deathbed, profiteering, obviously believing that you weren’t going to make it and making moves to enrich themselves. That is the unthinkable.

Adel Sayegh: That’s pure evil, Justin.

Justin Donald: Yeah.

Adel Sayegh: The whole time I was sharing with my wife and my oldest. Brandon was old enough for me to be able to, assuring them, they’re going to be okay. And it gave me a sense of peace of my heart knowing that even if I’m going to be with my maker, my kids or my family are going to be okay for many generation. That gives you a sense of peace that’s hard to explain. And now, I’m still not out of the woods and now, I’m facing the unthinkable. And I knew the moment I get together with the banks and get together with the various agencies and I said, here’s what’s going on. Everyone’s going to want to foreclose on all my assets and all my properties. One of the most difficult days of my life happened, I was still sick on a lot of medication. The FBI now is meeting and two of my attorneys are meeting with the executive team to understand. And this one I would never forget because this will probably, I read about it in my book. This is the first time I truly experienced evil and heard the voice of evil and witnessed evil in ways I never thought even existed.

And agents were in there and typically, they say you’re not allowed to be in a room, but they allowed me to be, they made an exception. I was at the far, it was in a room away from the table where they were doing the interrogation. And I remember I was just still so sick. I was just laying down on the chairs and just kind of curled into a fetal position, just trying to get by. But I needed to hear, I needed to understand. Like, after everything I had done for them, I helped them finance their houses. I gave them the down payments on their houses, helped them finance their houses. Every family vacation or every vacation I’ve been on, I took them on, gave them some of the newest brand-new Mercedes. Like, our parking lot looked like a Mercedes dealership. My heart and soul, you know me, I was just equally loving to my employees, as I am in my normal life. And I just needed to know. it was one of those like, how could you do this?

So, at the very end of the interrogation and deposition, the acts, this question helped us understand just after everything he has done for you, why would you do this? And you know what the response was? We didn’t think he was coming back. And honestly, it was like taking a jagger to my heart and twisting it. I had a trash can next to me and literally, I got on my knees and I started vomiting because it was just, that was truly experienced in evil in ways I never thought actually existed. I didn’t think people were capable of doing that and to hear that this was the reason that I wasn’t coming back is why they did what they did was just beyond anything I had ever thought was even possible.

And so, when it came time to prosecute, by then, I had to start liquidating majority of my assets, I would say close to 90% of my assets were liquidated to pay off all my debt to make sure that they don’t foreclose on my home and anything. I had every exotic car went, could possibly imagine, Justin. So, seeing my entire street was lined up with tow trucks to take away all my toys because I had to liquidate everything and I was liquidating pennies on the dollar, 50 cents on a dollar, a lot of the properties, properties that were worth a million dollars just to bring in the cash. I was selling for $100,000 if they could do a one-week escrow

But that stuff didn’t really matter to me. I was like, okay, I built it, I could rebuild it again. ZBut it was really hard. I’m not going to say that that was joyful. That was the darkest moment of my life. But a year later when it came time to prosecute, and I wish my wife was next to me because she tells a different version of how she sees the world than the way I see it. When it came time to prosecute and the FBI agents were in my home and they say, “Okay, it’s time. We need you to sign off,” I couldn’t. I say I can’t. And other agencies got involved and it’s like, “What do you mean, Adel? You got to put these guys behind bars. They belong in jail. If you don’t prosecute someone else, they’re going to hurt someone else. They’re going to go out and do the same.” And I get it and I understand it.

But here’s my logic, Justin, I had a good relationship with God prior to any of this happening. My faith was always unshakable, but it was nowhere near where my faith became after all of this, what I went through. For the first time in my life, I actually read the Bible as an entirety. My relationship with God went from, back then I thought it was a 10. Looking back today, it was probably a 1, right? It went from a 1 to a 10. Everything that I ever wanted in life. And we worked so hard for our money. We worked so hard to save money, to buy all these great things, thinking that that’s where we find joy. And this is where we find happiness. And if I accomplish these certain milestones, then I’m going to have happiness enjoying my life and peace, right? Because that’s a lot of times, like no matter what goes wrong, we’re going to be okay because I have peace that I’ve saved enough money to care of me and my family, but so many things have to fall in place for me to find that level of joy and peace and happiness and purpose and fulfillment.

Well, I realized, well, doing that until you get to that level and until you get to that point, you have to go through a lot of depression and anxiety and fear and uncertainty. And what if you could have peace today? While you going through all that, what if you could enjoy peace that surpasses understanding, know your life purpose, have joy, have peace, have happiness where you live in life in the most beautiful way, regardless of what you have, because money is not guaranteed. So, all of a sudden, everything in my life changed dramatically in a ways where I had more peace that surpassed understanding the world around me could be falling apart. Yet, I had a sense of peace because I had a connection with God I never really had before until I went through these trials.

So, I looked at my wife and I looked at the agents and I said, if God used them to bring me closer to him, how could I want to hurt them? I do believe in judgment day. I believe every single one of us has to answer for our own actions. I do believe them. But at the same time, what they meant for harm, Justin, was truly the greatest gift that anybody could ever possibly give me. And I share this with one person and I’m going to share this with you. If somebody came to me today and said, Adel, here’s a hundred billion dollars. You wanted to exit at a billion, here’s 100x, here’s a hundred billion dollars. And by the way, we paid your taxes. So, it’s a net, a hundred billion dollars, a hundred billion dollars to do what you want to do with it. You want to go out and spend it, you want to donate it, you want to invest it. It’s your money. A hundred billion to do whatever you want to do. Three conditions. One is you’ve never gotten sick. And I shared with you what that was like, the uncertainty. When I was home, that bag, every hour on the hour, one of my family members had to wake up to change it. So, to my point…

Justin Donald: Right. All through the night.

Adel Sayegh: Yes, all through the night. And what’s the chances of a teenage kid? I had four teenage kids, hitting this news button and not waking up in time to change their bag. And if I was too weak and too sick to change it myself, I’m back in the hospital now for a day or two. I’m back in the hospital for weeks because it’s a digestive enzyme and it’s digesting your organs. So, I didn’t have to go through that level of uncertainty for me and my family. Didn’t lose my company right? I didn’t have to give up my company and walk away from it and bankrupt the operating company. And the third is my relationship goes back to where it used to be with God. And I did have a good rel– I prayed every night. I never hurt anyone. I never cheated anyone. I never took advantage of anyone, Justin. My heart was always pure in that way, so I knew if my time came, I know God would welcome me into heaven.

So, it’s not like I had a bad relationship. Those are the three conditions and here’s a hundred billion dollars, would you do it? And my answer then, and my answer today would be, if you give me a trillion dollars, I wouldn’t change it for anything. And because now, I have supernatural powers that I didn’t have before, I have clarity in my life to understand what my purpose, the meaning of my life. No amount of money, no amount of success, no amount of wealth ever brought me that level of joy, that level of peace, that level of happiness, and why would I want to trade it? So, if the bad actors were used, if God used them to bring me closer to him, for me to experience all that joy and peace and happiness, why would I want to hurt them? So, in 20, my wife and I, I think I shared this story with you, I met her. Within two weeks of the day I met, we were married in a foreign country. That was 29 years ago.

Justin Donald: That’s so incredible.

Adel Sayegh: Right? The love of my life. We’ve had our ups, we had our downs, like any marriage does. But there’s only one thing that we, her and I, have never come to agreement on in the 29 years that we’re married. She wants to prosecute. She wants to put them behind bars. She believed they should ride in hell. And for me, I believe that they have to answer for their actions one day. So, I had forgiven them, which was the greatest gift. So, literally a year later, after I said I did not want to prosecute, I run into them at Dallas Airport at a connecting flight, and I actually gave the former president a hug. And my wife could, the whole entire flight, she didn’t even talk to me. She was like, “How could you do such a thing?” And for me, it was a blessing. It was a blessing in disguise. So, that was one of those lessons that I learned in life that I probably would’ve been hard to comprehend if somebody shared this with me.

I know many people that you share this story where it’s like, man, how could you not put them behind bars? How could you not? They’re going to go out and hurt people. And I do believe in God, I do believe in judgment day, and I do believe that every single one of us do have to answer for our actions. And this is a podcast that really deals with investment and money and how to grow your money. I will share this. When I was a little kid, my dad would come up to me and say, “Son, do you believe in heaven?” And I’ll look at him straight up, “Yeah, daddy, of course, I believe in heaven.” He says, “Son, if you believe in heaven, but you’re not investing it, you know where you are.” I was like, “What, Daddy?” He goes, “You are a schmuck.”

Justin Donald: Wow, you learned that at a young age.

Adel Sayegh: At a very young age. And here’s the truth and here’s the reality. Heaven is one of those things, Justin, that you either believe in or you don’t. There is no in-between. And if you truly believe in heaven and you’re not investing in it, my dad is right, I am a schmuck. And so, this is the heaven that the Bible talks about forgiveness throughout the entire Bible, talks about forgiveness, talks about not judging, not being critical of others, believing in God and God’s power to be able to resolve. So, I live my life that way. I live my life that, if somebody wants to hurt me, just don’t hurt my family, don’t get close with my family. The Marine in me will come out.

But those are the type of things, monetary money doesn’t really impact me the way it used to impact me. I mean, you and I got involved with one investor and he did some horrible, horrible things, terrible things to a lot of people. And before, I would be robbed of my joy and my peace because that was a lot of money for me at the time. We’re talking in the millions. And I remember, my wife, I shared when the news broke out and that was on Thanksgiving day, right? Thanksgiving day is when everyone got the notice that they’re defaulting on their investment. And I remember I shared that with my wife and I could just see my wife just getting overwhelmed. It’s like, “Baby, we got four kids in college. What do we do now?” Because over 90% of my income was coming from those investments and it vanished overnight.

And I looked at her, and there was just a sense of peace in my heart. I was his baby. This was a nudge from God for me to refocus on other areas that God wants me to focus in on. Sometimes you get a little too comfortable in the status quo thinking, hey, you know what? I’m going to put the car on autopilot. I’ll put my life on autopilot. I got enough money coming in and I’m happy. But the truth is, are you investing in heaven, in eternity the way my dad was talking about? Are we making an impact in people’s life? Are we touching people’s life in ways that bringing light into their life? The ones that are depressed, the ones that are overwhelmed, the ones that are lost, the ones that are confused, the ones that are seeking guidance, are we in their life inspiring them and bringing that level of love and that level of compassion and that level of understanding and impact in their life that way? Or are we just really, the spotlight is on us? Well, everything’s okay in my life, I’m pretty good, I’m on autopilot. I did the right investments. Now, I get to enjoy my life and neglecting everything around you. That became a difference. And here’s how God rewards us and here’s how I know. Have you ever donated money, which I know you have, but…

Justin Donald: Oh, yeah. Yes.

Adel Sayegh: Or have you ever helped anyone? Have you ever walked by a homeless guy and just sat down with them and bought him a food? There’s a sense joy, right, that God instills in us, and I think this is God’s way of rewarding us and says, do more of it.

Justin Donald: Yeah. What a great note to end on and what great thought-provoking questions to end on. Are we doing enough? Are we living a life that we desire to live, a life that others would look at and say that’s an honorable life, that God would look at and say, that’s an honorable life? And so, I appreciate you just being brutally honest and totally vulnerable. I mean, this is who you are. You are so authentic, and I love that. I love the passion. Where can people find out more about you, Adel, and your book coming out?

Adel Sayegh: So, I have virtually zero social media presence for whatever reason. That’s about to change with my publisher. They’re working on a social media platform right now to be able to have a podcast and be able to speak life into people and impact their lives the way that God felt God wants me, impact me. The book comes down in September, I believe September 10th right now is kind of the placeholder. I know sometime in September and it’s called Forged by Faith. I think I shared that with the audience earlier. And it really is, the first nine chapters is really about my life and what I had gone through to prepare me for who I am, the man I am today. And then the next three chapters is to really impact life and impact your life in every way imaginable. Whatever season that you’re going through, whether it’s marital, whether it’s financial, whether it’s health, I just felt like this book is a way for me to be able to communicate and bring hope and bring light and bring peace and fulfillment and be able to allow you to shatter any limiting belief that you ever were conditioned to have.

Justin Donald: I love it. Well, thank you so much for joining us. I love ending every episode with a question for our audience. So, if you’re watching or listening to this, my question this week, which is the same every week is what is one step you can take today to move towards financial freedom and really just move towards a life that you truly desire? One that’s on your terms, like Adel, so not a life by default, like we’ve all been in, we’ve all done, maybe you’re there right now, but rather a life by design. Thanks for joining us and we’ll see you next week.
