Recording on Mobile
We suggest using your mobile device to record your question, as it will likely result in better quality audio than the external mic on your computer. If you can use a pair of air pods or even a wired set of ear buds with mic jack, that should result in clean and easy to hear audio.
Recording on Computer
If you have a USB mic that can plug directly into your computer, that would be the best option and should result in high quality audio. However, you may have to confirm that your computer settings are picking up that mic and not defaulting to your computers external mic by accident.
Adjusting Your Computer Mic Settings
When you go to record your question using the plugin, you’ll be asked to enable your microphone. You’ll then have an opportunity to listen back to your question before you submit it. If for some reason the audio quality sounds very poor, it could be your mic settings. If you're using a computer, click the mic icon at the top right corner of the recording page.
From there, click "manage" and then select the correct mic from the dropdown menu. You should now be able to re-record your question without any issues.
In a worst case scenerio, record your question via your mobile device and send it in via email to justin[at]lifestyleinvestor.com.
